Thank you, Thank you

Most everyone knows by now of Crackskull’s financial struggle over the past year.  We’ve had ups and downs, lay-offs, and now here we are mid-summer.  And I must say, business has been great this spring and summer.  Coming into our tenth year, one would think we would have our stuff together by now.

So, a BIG thank you to all of you who keep us going everyday.  To our regulars, to our once-a-year visitors that make us a staple in their vacation, to our Media Makers, to our UNH students, and to YOU (whoever you are), thank you.

We are taking books again!

Are you looking to get rid of books?  We are now accepting books for STORE CREDIT only.  Remember, store credit is good for ANYTHING in the store, and we do have lots of good stuff!

We’d like to beef up some sections, so we’ll be taking RELIGION, TAROT, MYTHOLOGY, PSYCHOLOGY, PHILOSOPHY, ART, DRAMA, MUSIC, SEXUALITY, ASTROLOGY, PETS, HUMOR, SCIENCE, HISTORY, no textbooks.  We’ll really take anything interesting and non-fiction, but all books should be in good condition with no writing or highlighting please.  Please bring in books Mon-Fri and be prepared to leave them for at least a few days.

NEW Beat & Slam Night!

No, it’s not Fight Club, it’s POETRY!  And it’s about time.  Our very first Beat & Slam Poetry Night welcomes EVERYONE to come and let loose here at Crackskull’s.  Come to share or just to listen!  Hosted by Jennifer Cole.

Opinions on Toilet Decals?

I know, it’s a little odd…but it appears that decorating your toilet is now all the rage.  How did I miss this?  <insert sarcasm here> Well, have no fear, we’re on it.  Here are some examples of these trendy little items on none other than my favorite website, Etsy.com.  And yes, I am serious about putting one of these on our toilet.  Call me crazy, I think they’re cute.
